The abundance of perfume products in our stores, salons, on trays and counters of all types is staggering. With an involuntary nostalgia, I remember the Soviet years when there were perfumes “Red Moscow”, “Red poppy”, “Dzintars” and maybe a couple of other names. Colognes also calmed the imagination with their non-variety – “Triple”, “Chypre”, “Carnation” and the like.
Choose a smell (and do not limit yourself to anything) and use it for the rest of your life, thank God, standardization worked in Soviet times: the smell created in the long post-war years did not change until perestroika. Continue reading
