You wouldn’t be chasing cheapness
The other extreme, much more common among our compatriots (and what can you do — life is like this) – the pursuit of what is cheaper. Here, perhaps, it is not necessary to gloat-our valiant rulers and leaders as plunged the country into poverty in the seventeenth year, so there and left, and who tried to surface-diligently drowned… Well, never mind, not about politics. This is because the way of thinking of post-Soviet people is how to save something. But at the same time-to convince everyone, including yourself, that we really live rich and on a Grand scale.
In relation to the situation: a post-Soviet person has a tendency to buy all sorts of… things “on occasion”, on the market stalls, in railway kiosks and in the cobwebby corners of grocery stores. But how-it is written “France”, it is cheap, what else is needed? On the fence, too, something is written sometimes, but it is not true…
How to distinguish a good perfume from a Frank “bullshit” – the topic of a large treatise, and not one. The main and obvious differences are as follows.
First of all, good things are never very cheap. A bottle of perfume produced — no, of course, not in France, but in a civilized country, under a civilized license — such a bottle should cost at least one and a half thousand “wooden” (at the end of 2009, so if necessary, make corrections in the figures). And if in France itself-then three thousand or more, approximately-about five thousand trees. Of course, a lot depends on all sorts of factors, first of all on the volume, I am considering a standard package of half an ounce (in 15 ml).
The lower the concentration, the cheaper the perfume will be, but the volume of” weak ” eau de toilette is much larger,so the price will be approximately the same.
What I want to say: you will never buy French or even “real” licensed perfumes for one hundred-three hundred-five hundred “wooden”ones. And if you are sold like this-feel free to spit in the face of the seller…
Sometimes it is said that good perfumes are sold only in large specialty stores. Allow me to disagree. A very large and well-known chain of cosmetics and perfumes stores (in order to avoid legal proceedings, I do not name names, but I think we have one such network) sells people Frank bullshit and does not hesitate to do so.
A good perfume will be sold to you, rather, in a small shop where you will sit comfortably, talk about this and that with a friendly sales consultant who does not bother you with a stupid “What did you want?”where it’s quiet and cozy…
Recently, there is a tendency to distribute high-quality perfumes outside of stores — with the help of free sellers – “networkers”. There, the price will not be as impressive as in the store, and you will get advice, and you will be able to talk. Another thing is that many, especially long-established “network” companies distribute outright bed bugs and pesticides, passing them off as high — quality perfumes-well, there is a risk, but it is even less than in the store. In the end, the seller – “NetWorker” is interested in you as a customer, and if he was not deceived, then there is no reason for him to lie to you, risking selling one bottle — and losing a regular customer.
