How to choose perfume? Common mistake
After the tasting, we will start reviewing the most common mistakes that inexperienced perfume users make.
So — what not to do when choosing and using flavored products.
Porridge will not spoil the oil
Folk recipe: in order for you to give up space on public transport — especially in summer-it is enough to use a few strong, rich smells, bought on the cheap at a nearby stall. But always at the same time! A good combination with the smells of household chemicals — hairspray, washing powder, cheap soap. Finally, it is best to use perfume without washing or washing clothes — that’s why it is deodorant to remove odors, right? The effect is stunning and tear-inducing.
Laughter is laughter, and there are enough such “consumers”. Don’t be like them, but take note of this. Most manufacturers of cosmetics and perfumes produce so-called “lines” of products that are United by common notes of smell. You can use perfume, wash with soap of the same shade, apply Cologne and deodorant — and nothing will be out of the General sound. There are deodorants and other odorless products. And washing powders are also odorless. By the way, “fragrant” odors of washing powders are one of the main causes of household allergies.
Keep it simple and people will reach out to you
Sometimes there are funny cases when some consumers who do not fully possess information about what is good and what is bad when choosing perfumes (and do not have taste), try to Express themselves in the only way that is clear to them-to buy more expensive and something that no one has.
It should be borne in mind that when you are “in public”, using the “creative author’s fragrance”, you risk being in the same position as a person who took the risk of mindlessly buying something at an author’s fashion show-and wearing it. Many couturiers put something on the catwalks that no one in their right mind and in a bad dream will try on — the main reason, I think, is the achievement of notoriety.
Agree that if a couturier puts out, say, a strict three-piece suit, neatly and evenly sewn, and under it-a pressed white shirt and a plain dark tie-but who will write about such a grief-couturier in the Newspapers?! Is that condescending — passed, say, so-and-so sour, no creative thoughts… And it was like clothes can be bought, such clothing is worn, it is this set prescribed etiquette.
Therefore, many fashion shows are nothing more than an outrageous show for those who consider themselves an intellectual and aesthetic elite, no more than an advertisement for a clothing developer. Successful fashion shows that have caused the largest number of responses in the media will bring the couturier, whose name is written on the labels, considerable profits. Here the effect of the “naked king” is openly used, which, perhaps, we will talk about some day… Although, of course, there are also displays of “normal” clothing-but, you must agree, they enjoy much, much less “fame”.
A completely similar situation happens in the perfume “haute couture”, no wonder many names are applied to clothing and perfume brands at the same time — the strategy is the same. Hit, shock “experts” (quotes here-not an accident) with something “like this” and, thereby, earn fame (sometimes cheap, undeserved).
In other words, if you are satisfied to wear perfume that “smells” of dirt, mold, or some other trash-go to the “exclusive author’s boutiques” for “masterpieces” of haute couture.
But remember: no one will understand you and will not appreciate the multi-digit amounts that you will spend buying an expensive “author’s exclusive”. You will not explain to everyone present that it is not in the car that you have gasoline flowing and your dress gets dirty, but this was the idea of the perfumer…
Moral: not everything is good that is expensive and in a single copy.
